When to use Bank iD SIGN?

Use Bank iD to your advantage wherever you need to electronically sign at a higher legal level with someone you don't know, isn't established in your systems, or doesn't have certificate-based electronic signature tools. We can advise you on when it is appropriate to use Bank iD.

Bank iD does not cover 100% of citizens

Banking identity is available to the majority of the population. However, there are many people who cannot use it because they have not activated it, are foreigners or have an account with a bank that is not participating in Bank iD. Therefore, other signature methods need to be involved in the design of the process.
