OBELISK Signing Portal

Because of its versatility, the PDF format, which is the standard in the field of electronic signatures, is supported. To convert documents from other formats to PDF, you can use OBELISK Converter Cloud.

No. Electronic documents can be created on the basis of data from various information systems to which OBELISK Signing Portal does not have access, not only for security reasons. For this reason, it does not provide tools for their creation. 

You can use integrated partner solutions to create documents.

Qualified electronic time stamps can be arranged as an optional service and used, for example, for each signature or only for the entire document.

Yes. The bulk signature feature and support for envelopes that bundle related documents together allows you to easily sign multiple documents at once. 

The Signature Client allows you to easily sign documents using keys and certificates stored on smart cards, tokens or locally on your computer. It supports MS Windows, macOS and Linux platforms and does not require complex installation of device-specific drivers. For Windows environments, you can install the client from the MS Store.

The OBELISK Signing Portal does not currently allow you to delegate a signature to a person other than the person designated by the signature requester. The solution may be to change the settings in the calling system.

The user is informed by e-mail notification of new documents to be signed. If the deadline for signing is approaching, they will also receive a timely notification so that they do not miss any important deadlines.

Documents and data can be archived in any format, including multimedia files such as phone records or data messages.

Archiving is not subject to signature, seal or time stamp. Data and documents may be stored in any form, and such archiving shall ensure that they can be proven to exist over time and remain unchanged.

The principle of relabelling ensures continuity of digital trust. By regularly adding qualified electronic time stamps and authentication information, the traceability of the document's status, signatures, seals and original time stamps is maintained when it enters the archive.

Yes, OBELISK Trusted Archive allows archiving even documents with invalid electronic signatures. During the archiving process, it detects this status and preserves it for future proof.

No. The expiry of the technical validity of the electronic certificate does not affect the legal validity of the concluded contracts. The expiry of the certificate makes it more difficult to prove the validity of the signature.

Electronic signatures, seals and time stamps from qualified providers across Europe can be verified. Currently from more than 150 authorities.

Yes, validation can be set to trust your internal CA on demand. Contact us for the technical conditions of such a setup. 

OBELISK Validator verifies signatures, seals and timestamps from all qualified authorities in Europe according to a public list. It allows you to include your internal CA and perform back validation. In addition, the validation method can be centrally set and the results can be retrieved in human-readable and machine-processable formats. The result does not depend on the correctness and timeliness of the Acrobat Reader settings.

Yes, converting MS Office or OpenOffice formats to PDF, e.g. before signing a document, is a typical use case.

No. The conversion must be provided by a separate call before the document is submitted for signature.
